Gloucester Place completed

Feilden+Mawson have just completed their first residential development for the Portman Estate.  Two listed Georgian townhouses were converted from commercial use to 11 high quality apartments in London’s Gloucester Place

The apartments range from 1 to 3 bed specifications.  Each is a bespoke creation, optimising the potential of their unique layouts and their particular opportunities.

The principal apartment is contained in the 1st floor of No.70 which has as its main feature a double length living space that spans the width of two townhouses.  It culminates in a modern open plan kitchen as a foil to the restored historic fireplace at the opposite end. In contrast a basement apartment in No.68 utilises a rear courtyard to create an outdoor room as the central space surrounded by living, dining and kitchen facilities.
