Snetterton race track achieves planning permission

Permission for the Snetterton Business Park and the track alterations were unanimously granted by Breckland Council last month. The 26 acre site will provide space for a hotel, motorsport and sports car retail, engineering units, race team units and a race school. The project has taken 2 years of hard work to achieve planning permission due to stringent acoustic requirements relating to the track alterations. The development will now open up opportunities for Snetterton to attract larger events such as the World Touring Cars and possibly A1GP thereby drawing further investment to the area and supporting the growth of the business park.

It is envisaged that the business park and the track will be directly linked and that those wanting to experience the full capability of their future purchases safely and legally, will be able to test them on the purpose-built circuit. Feilden+Mawson are now looking forward to producing the detailed design for the initial elements of the business park.
