Feilden+Mawson win architectural competition in Czech Republic
Feilden+Mawson Prague (FAM Architekti) have won an open architectural competition to regenerate Mirove Square in Dobris, south of Prague. Mirove Square is the main public square in Dobris and, although at the heart of the town, it is a soulless place dominated by heavy traffic.
Our winning design scheme improves all the essential functional elements of the square and gives clarity to their arrangement. The existing traffic-dominated town centre will be transformed, with the central area of the square defined as a quiet communal space in a predominantly pedestrian area.
