Red Lion Quarter

Feilden+Mawson was awarded this mixed use £6.5m project that is situated on a brown-field site in the centre of Spalding's Conservation Area.

The new building was conceived as a hub in recognition of Lincolnshire's significant role in the nation's food industry. The client, South Holland district Council, required one building to offer FE/HE education, retail and commercial accommodation at BREEAM 'Very Good' standards.

The building has helped in the regeneration of this part of Spalding and has extended the adjacent historical Market Place. It was officially opened in 2011.
