Holland Park Cafe
The café, entered from the Grade I listed arcade, is designed as a sequence of inter-related internal and external spaces, and is fully glazed to maximise the views out and links to the terraces.
Set in the historic Dutch garden, the design of the building follows the Park's contours over a series of terraces and its unusual shape is defined by the historic brick wall that forms the back wall of the café. Materials have been chosen to complement both the Park surroundings and the early 17th century Holland House, of untreated cedar cladding, ternecoated steel roofing, and granite for the floor and external terrace.
