Designed by James Wyatt and Robert Adam, the Grade I Listed buildings had been unoccupied since the late 1980s and were on the Buildings at Risk Register.
Feilden+Mawson led the restoration of the buildings and the design and conversion work to create one of London's finest new clubs. Work included installation of new kitchens, lifts, bathrooms and bedrooms, disabled access provision, the conservation and restoration of the fine rooms, re-roofing, detailed fire strategy, reservicing and suppression of dry rot.
