Feilden+Mawson refurbished this Grade II Listed townhouse for continued office use.

The works carried out included the restoration of the internal historic features, structural strengthening works, general layout changes, the creation of a 1st floor rear extension, the rebuilding and improvement of an external lift shaft, a full upgrade of services comprising CAT5 cabling and comfort cooling, as well as the introduction of a new roof plant.

Contemporary WCs, shower rooms and kitchens now complement the historic setting. Bespoke lighting enhances both the full-height main stairwell and several of the meeting rooms. Extensive discussions were held with the planning and conservation officers on the proposed 1st floor rear extension and lift shaft, which F+M resolved to the satisfaction of both client and local authority.
