    Conisford Court, Rose Lane

Feilden + Mawson were appointed by Circlet Homes to work through RIBA Stages 1-7 for a scheme on Rose Lane.

The design marries modern construction techniques with traditional materials to give a pleasing and contemporary feel that will stand the test of time in this high profile site. The proposal seeked to redevelop the cleared site at Rose Lane between Maidstone and Greyfriars Road in Norwich as a mixed use development in accordance with adopted planning policy.

The site formed an undeveloped bridge between the central Norwich shopping & business district and new and proposed developments at Riverside, Mountergate and at King Street. Rose Lane is a now a main thoroughfare in the City Centre management area of Norwich.Conisford Court consists of 24No. 1 and 2 bed apartments, 2No. penthouse apartments and ground floor commercial accommodation.

The main floors of residential accommodation above are treated with a good quality buff coloured facing brick with recessed detailing to the brickwork and projecting bay windows treated with VM Zinc standing seam cladding providing window seats with dual aspect views onto Rose Lane and up Rose Lane toward Norwich Castle.
