72 Hills Road

Feilden+Mawson were originally commissioned to provide technical advice on behalf of the Client Cambridge Assessment for a part conversion / part new build project currently under construction.

Cambridge Assessment had agreed to purchase the building from a 3rd party following completion of the initial Design and Build shell and core contract. Cambridge Assessment were afforded design input during this initial contract for which Feilden+Mawson provided technical advice and drawing services to ensure the completed shell met the needs of the client.

Following completion Feilden+Mawson were then commissioned by Cambridge Assessment to provide a project management role overseeing a fit out contract of the building shell to provide office space and a feature staff canteen located within a new glazed extension to the roof.

The project required careful coordination of all Design Team parties to ensure initially the building shell and services infrastructure installed provided Cambridge Assessment with a suitable platform to then carry out the fit out project.
