Norwich Aeropark

Feilden+Mawson has recently received planning permission for a significant development at Norwich Airport. Our masterplan received outline permission in Autumn 2013 to provide a new Aeropark at Norwich International Airport. The proposal is for up to 80,000m2 of aviation-related floorspace with associated infrastructure and landscaping, creating approximately 1,000 new jobs, depending on the type of operators.

The project was undertaken for Wrenbridge Norwich Airport LLP; a joint venture between Norwich Airport Ltd and Wrenbridge Ltd. The site is a parcel of land of approximately 100 acres, which lies to the northeast of the Norwich International Airport runway and terminal building.

The likely occupiers would be complementary to other Norwich Airport businesses and would support the core operations. Occupiers are likely to operate in the areas of design, development and manufacturing of aviation related products and support services.

The first phase of the Aeropark is a £15m scheme for Air Livery; a new 15,000m2 production and head office facility, which has received detailed planning approval.
