The Ryes
Feilden+Mawson were approached by the client to work on a project that required a Grade II listed building to be converted from a school to residential building. The scheme consisted of a large house which had been heavily and unsympathetically modified over the previous two decades.
The scheme uses a central heating plant which not only heats the main house but also other properties in proximity to the main building. We therefore looked at various cost options for them and also looked at ways of phasing the project to help manage cash flow/funding of the project through its various stages. The project was run as a traditional contract.
