DCA25 Shortlist
Two very special projects of ours have been shortlisted for the Design & Craftsmanship Awards… Norwich Castle and Soul Church, both built with community at heart, are prime examples of what modern architecture practices can do to reinvigorate local spaces and give them a whole new lease on life.
We eagerly await the results which will be announced next month!
Work Commences on Dyers’ Hall
The refurbishment of Grade II* Listed building Dyers’ Hall in London has just begun. The work will include structural alterations, floor strengthening, new staircase and other works to the commercial areas at 11-13 Dowgate Hill.
We’re proud to be a part of this special project and look forward to seeing the final results in Spring 2026.
Lloyd Addison’s Moveable Feast
The Moveable Feast was an unforgettable night of excellent food and even better company, our Norwich partner's and their guests spent the evening hopping between some of Norwich's best pubs.
A huge thank you to Parkinson's UK for organising this event in aid of such a great cause.
Perry Road Nears Completion
Our development in partnership with Hill Group, is almost finished! This space aims to breathe life back into a redundant commercial space, with new homes to serve the local Harlow community and commercial space located on the ground floor.
We are so thrilled to see this vision come to life, and it won’t be long until this building will be teeming with life. Watch this space…
NFCI’s Annual Lego Competition
Plenty of fun at last night’s annual Lego Competition, where the challenge was to build around the theme of Norfolk coastal towns. Fantastic to see our teams efforts landed us in the top 5 out of 18 teams!
A huge thank you to NFCI for hosting such a warm and creative evening and The Assembly House for keeping everyone fuelled with a brilliant buffet!
AECB 2025 Conference
Our Partner and Architect James Evans had a wonderful time attending the AECB - Association for Environment Conscious Building 2025 Annual Conference in Norwich this month. Representing F+M, James explored the theme of Environment Conscious Construction – Case Studies & Conversations. It was a great opportunity to connect with industry peers.
Dezeen – Norwich Castle Keep
We’re thrilled to see Dezeen feature our work on the 12th-century Norwich Castle Keep. The article captures the scale, care, and craft that went into bringing the Keep to life for visitors restoring historic spaces while creating new ways to explore them.
Past and present collide at Norwich Castle
This morning at Norwich Castle, the past and present collided - in the best possible way. F+M's Erin Davidson and Dan Towers joined Norfolk Museums, The British Museum, The National Lottery Heritage Fund, Conisbee and a room full of media to talk about what this transformation means for Norfolk and beyond.
Congratulations to F+M apprentice
Massive congratulations to Maisie Martin on earning a Distinction in her T-Level at City College Norwich, one of only two students to achieve this grade. We’re incredibly proud to have welcomed Mai as an apprentice just over a year ago. Since joining F+M, she’s made a real impact working on projects including Horsham St Faith, Ansible Motion and Sloughbottom Park, where her commitment and fresh perspective have truly stood out. We look forward to seeing all she’ll go on to accomplish at F+M!
Refurbishment funded at Greenhouse Centre
Major funding has been awarded to The Greenhouse Centre in central London. This will enable the final phase of works to be completed, restoring this Grade II* listed converted church and allowing it to reopen as the home of charity Greenhouse Sports. Our project team have been hard at work on many elements of the refurbishment from top to bottom, We can’t wait to see this one come together.
Mile Cross Redevelopment
The first phase of Mile Cross brings 67 much-needed homes, designed with sustainability, community and social value at their core.
