Easton Village Residential Development
Feilden+Mawson achieved outline planning approval for 890 dwellings as an extension to Easton village, Norfolk. The site is located about 5 miles from Norwich and is accessed off the A47 trunk road. The masterplan was developed through a strong understanding of the existing village, landscape context and wider infrastructure issues. The design philosophy creates proposals which enhance the existing village and provides a new development which has a strong sense of place that relates to local character. The masterplan includes a new village centre, village hall, school extension and village shop. The land has been sold to a national house builder for construction to commence.
