Feilden+Mawson has refurbished two Georgian townhouses for the Portman Estate to provide residential accommodation. The properties sit opposite each other on Gloucester Place and are both Grade II listed. The refurbishment has provided 11 apartments comprising of a mix of 1, 2 and 3-bed units.

F+M has taken the opportunity to create combined living spaces linking living, kitchen and dining rooms in open plan arrangements. The historic interiors were enhanced by colour palette of rich greys set against newly installed oak timber floors, minimalist light fittings and purpose made walnut veneered cabinets in the bathrooms.
