Richard Bray – New Associate

We’re delighted to announce the promotion of Architect Richard Bray to Associate. Working in our London office, Richard specialises in the preservation, refurbishment, and restoration of listed buildings. His application of modern conservation techniques to historic buildings and heritage sites, alongside his technical drawing skills and collaborative approach has seen him contribute to some of our most high-profile projects. Most recently he has been hard at work on our project for Greenhouse Sports, refurbishing a Grade II* listed church.

Women in Architecture

We had a brilliant evening at the Women in Architecture networking event last night - the first of the year - with around 30 women coming together for a really great turnout. It was such a pleasure to spend time connecting with others in the industry outside of the office.

Greenhouse Progress

Progress is underway on our project at the Greenhouse Sports Centre, with the installation of new timber joists to support the new sports floor covering. The works are part of essential repairs to restore the converted Grade II* listed church and help the Greenhouse charity to continue its work supporting young people.

NFCI Halls Visit

Yesterday our Partners Robert and Erin, took a trip to the beautifully renovated Halls in Norwich including St Andrews Hall, Blackfriars Hall, and Becket’s Chapel. Courtesy of NFCI, the visit gave an exclusive preview of the projects, and a presentation from those closely involved in the projects. Congratulations to all those involved!

Marc secures QI role

Congratulations to Marc Piqué i Gascón, one of our London Partners and a RIBA Specialist Conservation Architect, who is now on the list of approved Quinquennial Inspector Architects of the Diocese of Southwark. We look forward to what this appointment will bring.

Launch for Sloughbottom Community Engagement

Norwich City Council has now submitted a planning application from our project at Sloughbottom! With the release of some brilliant renders of the projects, residents have been encouraged to review and comment on the plans for the scheme via Get Talking Norwich.

The 77th Steele Bodgers

Yesterday, some of team F+M were brought together with professionals, alumni, and rugby enthusiasts across the construction industry for the 77th Annual Steele Bodgers Match at Cambridge University Rugby Club. It was fantastic to reconnect with friends and colleagues, share ideas, and some great entertainment.

Feilden+Mawson and Conisbee Castle Celebration

Yesterday we hosted a celebration party with Conisbee in honour of the completion of Norwich Castle Keep, a widely treasured 900 year old local gem.
It was a wonderful evening with fantastic music, food and even an immersive light projection. Thank you to all who attended, it was a brilliant occasion to commemorate the completion of such an important project!
